This is a riff on a Vanilla Vodka Sour, which is nice in its own right, but lacking in complexity. While still getting the sweet vanilla notes, the citrus really shines here. And the Angostura is the sting that gets you, but in a good way!
Vanilla Stinger
1-1/2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Licor 43
1 oz. Lemon juice
3/4 oz. Pineapple juice
1/2 oz. Simple syrup
3-4 dashes Angostura bitters
Vanilla Stinger

Method...
Add all the ingredients to a shaker tin. Add ice and shake until chilled. Fine strain into a chilled rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a few pineapple fronds, a flower, and a cherry.
A Scotty G Signature Cocktail
A pineapple wedge and a cinnamon stick will also make a fine garnish for the Vanilla Stinger. For the music, may I suggest Bob Marley - Legend?

Hi, I'm Scott Gardner, your mindful mixologist. While I am not a professional bartender, I have made well over two hundred different and unique cocktails, and invented over fifteen original drinks, including my famous European Vacation, Muzetta's Waltz, and The Cherry Bella, all of which can be found in my book, Lock it, Flip it, Kick it & Shake!
Besides shaking, stirring, and sipping, I also enjoy golfing, reading, and writing. My wife and I both love animals and we have recently gotten into birding, which is a fun and rewarding hobby. And our favorite birds... The Philadelphia Eagles, of course! Go Birds!
